What are the investment Allowances for ISA’s?
From April 2010, the yearly savings limit in an ISA will be £10,200 of which up to £5,100 can be held in a Cash ISA.

What is a Child Trust Fund?
The Child Trust Fund is a Government initiative aimed to:

  • Help people understand the benefits of savings and investing
  • Encourage parents and children to develop the savings habit and engage with financial institutions
  • Ensure that in future children have a financial asset at the start of adult life to invest in their future

Who will qualify?
All children born on or after 1st December 2002, who are eligible for child benefit and resident in the UK, will qualify for a Child Trust Fund account.
